Lake Austin Canoe Engagement

Katie and Kolt’s sunrise canoe shoot was an absolute dream.

We met Katie via Facebook, she is a fellow wedding photographer from Kentucky who wanted some photos with her husband while they were on a trip to Austin.

I sent Katie some mood boards of different shoots I had planned out, and she immediately claimed the canoe shoot. It took some time to find a place to rent a canoe, and a location to launch it from, but we got everything scheduled and waited for their arrival to Austin. 

The shoot was so much fun- and Katie and Kolt thankfully managed to keep the canoe upright the entire time! These are some of our favorite pictures, we can’t wait to do more creative shoots like these.
