Zilker Botanical Garden Engagement

Antionette and Tyler’s Engagement session at Zilker Botanical Garden was so much fun!

Antionette and Tyler booked us for their wedding this fall and, after sending over our Austin Location Guide, decided on Zilker Botanical Garden as the location for their engagement shoot.

They drove in from Houston, and met us for an early morning shoot. We always try to schedule shoots to be in the early morning or late afternoon for the best lighting and the mildest temperatures. It seems like we weren’t the only ones with this idea, as there were quite a few other engagement sessions going on at the same time! We had to wait our turn for a couple of spots, but our hour session gave us plenty of time to capture everything we wanted.

Antionette and Tyler were incredible models, they took direction very easily and were so comfortable with one another. Their love is apparent in every photo. Antionette is a genius and brought flats to change into between takes so she didn’t have to walk around the park in heels. I would recommend that to anyone who goes to Zilker Botanical Garden- there are a lot of stairs and it can get very steep!

One of our favorite parts of this shoot was their outfits- they were absolutely adorable! We always love when brides wear white dresses in engagement photos, they make for great save-the-dates. We had such an amazing time getting to know Antionette and Tyler on this shoot and are so excited to shoot their wedding in October!
