Austin Lake House Wedding

Shelby and Christian’s Austin, Texas lake house wedding was absolutely precious.

This small wedding was so sentimental and full of love.

Shelby and Christian chose to get married beneath the large oak tree outside their family’s lake house in the Texas Hill Country. Christian’s Grandfather officiated, reading from a family bible passed down for generations. They both got ready amongst their families, their precious dog Maggie running around the yard while aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins all helped get everything set up.

The ceremony was so special. When Christian saw Shelby walk down the aisle he couldn’t hold back his tears, which brought tears to our eyes. Afterwards, we took some absolutely adorable pictures with the couple and their sweet Maggie girl, who Shelby told us they rescued as a puppy from the streets in Midland during a snowstorm. They cut their beautiful cake, which was made by one of Shelby’s cousins. Then, after some very touching speeches, we danced the night away- ending the night with a private last dance at the altar under the twinkling lights of the oak tree and a send off on Shelby’s family’s boat.
