Texas Fantasy Woodland Wedding

Franchesca and Gabriel’s fantasy inspired woodland wedding in the Texas countryside was pure magic.

We knew this wedding was going to be special after we shot the couple’s engagement photos. Franchesca had wanted a Lord of the Rings inspired engagement shoot, the pictures came out stunning and we had the absolute best time. During that engagement session Franchesca told us the theme of her wedding: woodland fantasy. We said say less. 

Arriving to their venue, we were blown away by the beautiful, whimsical woodland wedding we stepped into. They chose to have their first look under the leaves of a maple tree, to have their ceremony nestled in the forest, and then danced the night away- wizard hats, beards, and staffs in tow. They really were able to transform the Texas countryside into a hobbit wonderland. 

This wedding was SO MUCH FUN. They had choreographed father/daughter and mother/son dances, a maypole instead of a bouquet toss, and fog filled the dance floor for their first dance giving us the dreamiest shots.
