Laguna Gloria Proposal

Rafael’s proposal to Lupe went off without a hitch, and now they’re getting hitched!

To ensure Lupe didn’t catch wind of what he was planning, Rafael entrusted Lupe’s sister Daisy to coordinate the special occasion. Daisy was an absolute delight to work with, she thought of everything down to the last detail.

On the day of, the plan was to tell Lupe they were going to a brunch spot inside the Laguna Gloria so she would dress cute without being suspicious. Little did she know that brunch spot does not exist, and she was instead heading to her proposal!

We made sure to arrive to Laguna Gloria plenty early to set up the decorations. While in the midst of the set-up, another couple stumbled upon us and the girlfriend mistakenly thought the proposal was for her. When she realized it wasn’t, she got so sad- and we felt so bad!! (Boyfriend- if you’re reading this- we’re available!)

Daisy shared her location with me so we would know when they were getting close. We eagerly watched them get closer and closer. When Lupe finally rounded the corner, she broke out into the biggest smile. Rafael dropped to one knee, she said yes, and the rest is history!

After we snapped some cute pictures both in and outside the Laguna Gloria Villa, we sent them on their way to actually go have brunch.
